The JSIS Senior Editorial team has decided on the winner of the Best Paper Award for 2017. The recipients are: Asin Tavakoli, Daniel Schlagwein and Detlef Schoder for their paper “Open strategy: Literature review, re-analysis of cases and conceptualisation as a practice”, in The Journal of Strategic Information Systems (JSIS), 2017, 26(3), 163-184. Asin Tavakoli and Daniel Schlagwein are former PhD candidates of Professor Schoder. In addition, the paper was nominated for the AIS Best IS Paper Award.
